About Me

The Short Version

I build things that didn't exist before, and then I make them work.

Sometimes that's a brand. Sometimes it's a demand engine, a creative team, a pricing model, an AI tool or process, or a whole new way for a company to go to market. I've spent my career at the messy edges where marketing meets operations, strategy, and technology.

People who've worked with me call me a hub. I can be the visionary, the analyst, or the person holding the team together, depending on what the moment calls for. That flexibility isn't an accident. I'm curious by default, I learn fast, and I'd rather understand a problem three ways than one.

I lead with two things always in front of me: the number and the person. I care about the bottom line, and I care just as much about the people creating it. Coaching isn't a side task for me.

I'm bilingual in English and Spanish, I hold an MBA from Auburn, and I've modernized and scaled marketing functions more than once. Ask me about any of it.

The Range

My lane is revenue-accountable B2B & B2C marketing. Everything below is how I drive it.

Brand &
Creative

I've built brands from a blank page and rebuilt them mid-flight: two research-grounded rebrands, brand books that teams actually use, and an in-house creative agency good enough that Fortune 500 clients paid for its work.
Proof: 20% lower creative delivery costs, an IABC Golden Flame award.

Growth & Demand

Pipeline is a system, not a campaign. I run segmentation, ABM, and lifecycle programs on acquisition economics, and I've rebuilt funnels that others had written off.
Proof: doubled marketing-influenced revenue; turned a declining segment into a top MQL contributor at a 4:1 CPA; ROAS of 3x to 10x.

Product & Solutions

Give me a complex portfolio and I'll make it buyable. At LexisNexis Risk I aligned hundreds of subproducts into solution architecture and packaged bundles, then built a digital configurator with built-in logic so sellers and buyers could assemble the right package in minutes.
Proof: a portfolio worth roughly $1B, launches including SMB Data Suite and Credit Risk.

Industry & Vertical GTM

Generic messaging loses to a competitor who speaks the buyer's industry. I've led vertical marketing across fintech, payments, banking, and ecommerce, and restructured an entire marketing org into industry pods to match.
Proof: segments representing more than 50% of business services revenue; a firm-wide shift from service-first to industry-first GTM.

Research & Insights

My campaigns start with original research because borrowed data builds borrowed positioning. I built a research center of excellence strong enough that it stopped being a cost center.
Proof: True Cost of Fraud, a flagship industry study; a voice-of-customer practice that billed Fortune 500 clients.

 Experiences & Events

The hardest audience in marketing is a C-suite that ignores everything. I produce board-level communications, executive sales meetings, and activations that get answered, from custom video mailers to a World Cup campaign and a Shark Tank co-sponsorship.
Proof: a 20% executive response rate that opened doors at Delta, Bank of America, and Chick-fil-A; 200-300% returns on events.

Multicultural & Culture

Bilingual isn't a line on my resume; it's a market I built. I launched Aflac's first Spanish TV campaign, created a 3,000-agent Hispanic sales cohort, and made multicultural a revenue engine instead of a checkbox.
Proof: +5 points of brand awareness, 10% sales growth, roughly $500M in retained revenue.

AI & Marketing Innovation

I don't talk about AI; I ship it. Brand-voice tools any team can use, AI adoption programs for a consulting workforce, the framework for an agentic commerce pilot, and gamified experiences before gamification was a deck slide.
Proof: Risk World lifted leads 40%; a sales enablement app Apple recognized as first of its kind.

How I Lead

The way I lead doesn't change with the size of the team. Two people or thirty-five, the job is the same: figure out what each person is great at and what they want to become, then hand them real ownership of work that stretches them toward it.

My proudest career stat isn't a campaign metric. It's the people who outgrew the roles I hired them into and now lead teams of their own. Integrity, for me, is operational: I do what I said I'd do, and I tell people the truth when it's inconvenient. Teams can feel that. It's why mine have stayed together through a reorg, a rebrand, a platform migration, and three acquisition integrations.

And because I've written the brief and built the model myself, I can set a high bar, coach the craft, and clear obstacles without becoming the bottleneck. The discipline is giving the team room to run and never taking the work back. That trust is what let a 35-person team double the revenue marketing influenced while billing Fortune 500 clients for its creative work.

I had the privilege of working for Lucia twice, and both times she made me a better marketer. Lucia is the kind of leader who sees potential in you that you didn't know was there and then pushes you to reach it. She stretches you in ways that feel uncomfortable in the moment but make complete sense in hindsight. And here's the thing: she does it while making sure you have the support you need to actually get there.

Experience

Metanoia Maris

Independent marketing strategy and brand consultancy for B2B and B2C clients.

Principal Marketing Consultant · Alpharetta, GA · May 2026 – Present

Advisory work across B2B and B2C while I pursue my next executive role: positioning, brand and content strategy, and go-to-market, from framework through launch. Most recent engagement: built a nonprofit's complete brand foundation, then proved it in market, growing its social following organically by several thousand in the first month.

LoadUp Technologies

Online marketplace for consumer home services and logistics, and a repeat Inc. 5000 honoree.

Vice President, Marketing · Alpharetta, GA · June 2025 – April 2026

I walked into a company with real traction and no real brand, and I owned the marketing P&L for fixing that. In ten months my team of 10 built the brand foundation, made it usable with AI-powered tools so every team could create on-brand content, and repositioned the value propositions to be more competitive based on market insights. On the growth side, I mapped the customer journey end to end and rebuilt the ecommerce workflows behind it: recovering idle carts, re-engaging past customers, and refreshing 300+ workflows with value-focused messaging. We layered on a new promo code strategy to lift seasonal conversions, a location-based Google strategy to win high-priority markets, and an AI content and AEO strategy that climbed the rankings while the team cut page load times by more than three minutes across a million-plus pages. I also led the company's planning process with the executive team and built the framework for an agentic commerce pilot.

Receipts: ROAS of 3x to 10x across paid channels, 20% revenue growth, conversion up 4%, 300+ workflows optimized.

North Highland

Global consulting firm focused on change and transformation with roughly 5,000 consultants.

Director Senior Director Managing Director, Marketing · Atlanta, GA · May 2019 – June 2025

Six years, two promotions, and a mandate that kept growing: global marketing, enterprise transformation, and billable research. I led two research-grounded rebrands, built a research practice strong enough to bill Fortune 500 clients including Coca-Cola, and created an in-house creative agency that did something in-house teams almost never do: sold its work to Fortune 500 clients while cutting internal delivery costs 20%. I restructured the org into a shared-services and industry-pod model, integrated three acquisitions, and when the firm opened its Saudi Arabia office, I built the market-entry positioning, offering strategy, and launch events. My transformation mandate included leading a 30+-person team of engineers, strategists, and change management experts through cloud service launches and AI tooling adoption. I also produced the executive outreach program that earned meetings with leaders at Delta, Bank of America, and other Fortune 500 companies, and ran digital promotion for Talking Transformation, an executive content series featuring leaders from American Airlines, Adidas, AstraZeneca, Colt, and many other Fortune 500 brands.

Receipts: doubled marketing-influenced revenue; tripled analyst recognition across Gartner, Forrester, and IDC; 35-person global organization; an IABC Golden Flame award.

LexisNexis Risk Solutions

Global data and analytics company, part of RELX, a FTSE 100 group with roughly $12B in revenue.

Manager Director, Marketing · Alpharetta, GA · May 2015 – May 2019

I owned marketing for a portfolio worth roughly $1B across fintech, payments, banking, and ecommerce, and my favorite problem there was complexity: hundreds of subproducts nobody could navigate. I created the solution architecture and packaged bundles to make it buyable, then built a digital wizard with built-in logic so sellers and buyers could assemble the right package in minutes. I managed True Cost of Fraud, a proprietary study that became the brand's signature asset, and created Risk World, a gamified experience that lifted leads 40%. When the company acquired ThreatMetrix, I brought the two brands together in the market through joint client events, conference experiences, and shared thought-leadership studies. I ran global planning across APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and North America for four consecutive years, and I also produced high-production video skits and presentations for the C-suite to open national sales meetings.

Receipts: a declining segment turned into a top MQL contributor, a favorable 4:1 CPA, 200-300% returns on events, partnerships with Capital One (CreditWise) and FICO.

Aflac

Fortune 500 insurer, more than 12,000 employees and a 70,000+ agent network.

Analyst  Manager, Marketing (multiple promotions) · Columbus, GA · July 2007 – May 2015

Eight years and several promotions, ending with $90M+ in media and production budgets, three marketing functions under me, and recruiting marketing that fed a nationwide network of more than 70,000 agents. This is where I learned to build markets, not just campaigns. I ran the full multicultural marketing ecosystem: expanded the strategy across multiple languages, launched Aflac's first Spanish TV campaign, stood up hundreds of localized agent microsites to increase coverage in key markets, built a 3,000-agent Hispanic sales cohort, and equipped operations with scripts and an IVR overhaul that earned media coverage and a J.D. Power certification. I used sales psychology to design an enablement app that put the right content, forms, and videos in a seller's hands to close the pitch onsite without delay, and Apple recognized it as first of its kind. I ran sweepstakes and referral contests including the 'Aflac Goes to Rio' World Cup activation, created a Shark Tank co-sponsorship, served on the cross-functional team that protected customer retention, and co-chaired Aflac's corporate Diversity Council. The work earned features in Latino Leaders and Latina Style.

Receipts: brand awareness up 5 points, 10%+ sales growth, roughly $500M in revenue retained, the company's first programmatic media strategy.

Tools & Platforms

Off the Clock

I've visited more than 30 countries, which is either research for global marketing or an excuse for it. I paint in oils because I like watching a thing take shape slowly, run for fun (IronGirl finisher), and once co-piloted a plane, which I can now confirm is not my thing. I teach a weekly volunteer class of 50 to 100 adults, which will cure anyone of fear of public speaking, I've taken service trips to Africa, Mexico, and Nicaragua bringing supplies to under-resourced communities, and I've built five websites from scratch, pro bono, for nonprofits. Apparently I don't fully stop building things on weekends either.
